We're excited to announce that we have a NEW LOCATION for Winterman on February 20th.

This course has lots of great features, including:

-A quiter, more enjoyable course

-More sheltered from the wind 

-A more engaging course with MUCH more scenery

-Overall, this course is flatter, but the 42 meters of up-and-down is spread out across the entire 5K loop. There are more "small rolling hill", as opposed to longer climbs. 

-More flexibility around time limits. We won't have an early start option for the marathon but we will have the course until 2:30pm.

-More than 4x the amount of on site parking. Some runners (5K, 10K runnners) will still have to park in the neighboring area, unless we finalize an additional parking lot (it's in the works!)

-And of course, it's further from the downtown core. In the name of safety, we opted for a course that's a little easier to control. 

With this new venue, the athlete experience is going to be much better than we ever hoped for. We can't wait for you to see it for yourself.

We would not have been able to make this change without the support from the community. We started planning an alternate location when the convoy first came to Ottawa. The wonderful people at Beechwood Ottawa have been overly generous with their time and facilities. We'd also like to thank Imerman Angels for being our charity of the event and for being our volunteer squad for Winterman. They've been so great at adopting all these changes so that you can have the best race experience possible.
