Our Early Bird Event is only a few days away and we wanted to send some final reminders.
Coach Todd from the Ottawa Triathlon Club is doing an in-person orientation at Carleton U on Friday. The course walk through will start at 5pm but he'll be there at 3:30pm to answer any other questions that you might have. Feel free to come by, pick up your bib and get prepped for Saturday. The orientation will be at the P6 Parking Lot, which is where the transition zone will be on Saturday.
You can park at Carleton U but the parking situation is fairly slow and difficult. If possible, bike over to the event, carpool or park off campus.
The Carleton U pool still has a mask mandate in place. We will provide some disposable masks as you enter the pool, and you can toss them out in a bin right before getting in the water.
Post Race Meet Up:
The volunteers, Race Crew and Athletes are all invited to HomeTown Grill at 1525 Bank Street after the race. They've reserved the patio for us, so I hope to see you there and that we can share stories from the race!

We recommend showing up an hour before the race, to get your bib, set up transition, and make your way to the start line.
The race starts are:
8:30am: Long Tri, Long Du, Short Du
9:00am: Short Tri and Swim Cycle
9:30am: Try a Tri
Show up on deck 30 minutes before the race, so that you can line up in order and do a short warm up in the dive tank.
You can pick up your bib on Friday from 3pm-6pm or Saturday as of 7am.
