Iron 113 Swim (1932m)

loop course (see map).
Iron 113 First Duathlon Run (2K)
The run
starts on the track inside the stadium at the finish line.
Runners exit the stadium and follow the paved pathway through
Mooney’s Bay Park to the 1K turn around point on Riverside
Drive and returns to the stadium T-Zone on the same route.
Iron 113 Duathlon Cycle (90K)
The
bikes course consists of a 10K out and back loop from
Hog’s Back Road riding north on Colonel By Drive. Cyclists
turn at the 5 K point and return to the Hog’s Back Rd 10K
turn point. They repeat this loop 9 times in total and then
return to the T-Zone.
Iron 113 Triathlon & Duathlon Final Run (21.1
K)
The Half Marathon run is a 4 time out and back
loop beginning and ending in the Terry Fox Athletic
Facility. Runners exit the T-Zone beside the finish line and run
on the track to the stadium exit onto the paved pathway through
Mooney’s Bay Park. They then run along Riverside Drive on
the pathway and proceed to the Revelstoke Drive turn around
point. They turn around and head back to the stadium finish line
turn around point, to complete one loop. This loop is completed
4 times.
Olympic Triathlon Swim (1500m)
The swim
starts from Mooney’s Bay Beach and is a one loop course.
Swimmers exit from the water on the beach and run to the
T-Zone (see map).
Olympic Triathlon Bike (40K)
The bike course consists of four 10K out and
back loops along Colonel By Drive. Cyclists will exit the
transition zone onto Hog’s Back Road and proceed north on
Colonel By to the turn around. At the completion of the fourth
loop they will turn onto Hog’s Back Rd and re-enter the
Transition Zone.
Olympic Triathlon Run (10K)
Runners exit the T-Zone beside the finish line and run on the
track to the stadium exit onto the paved recreational pathway
through Mooney’s Bay Park. They run along Riverside Drive
on the recreational pathway and proceed to Revelstoke Drive, and
the 10K turn around point. Runners complete this course twice.
Sprint Triathlon Swim (750m)
The swim
starts from Mooney’s Bay Beach and is a triangular course.
First Sprint Duathlon Run (2K)
The run
starts on the track inside the stadium at the finish line.
Runners exit the stadium and follow the paved pathway through
Mooney’s Bay Park to the 1K turn around point on Riverside
Drive and returns to the stadium T-Zone on the same route.
Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon Bike (30K)
The bike course consists of three 10K out and
back loops along Colonel By Drive. Cyclists will exit the
transition zone onto Hog’s Back Road and proceed north on
Colonel By Drive to the turn around.
Sprint Triathlon & Second Duathlon Run (5K)
Runners exit the T-Zone beside the finish line and run on the
track to the stadium exit onto the paved recreational pathway
through Mooney’s Bay Park. They run along Riverside Drive
on the recreational pathway and proceed to Revelstoke Drive, and
the 5K turn around point. Runners complete this course twice.
Try A Tri and Super Sprint Triathlon
Swim (200m)
The 200 metre swim course starts
at the South end of Mooney’s Bay Beach and travels
parallel to the beach to the swim exit at the North end of the
beach.
Try A Tri and Super Sprint Bike (20K)
The
bike course consists of two 10K out and back loops along Colonel
By Drive.
Try A Tri Run (2K)
Runners exit the T-Zone
beside the finish line and run on the track to the stadium exit
onto the paved recreational pathway through Mooney’s Bay
Park. They run along Riverside Drive on the recreational pathway
to the 2K turn around point.
Super Sprint Triathlon Run (5K)
Runners exit the T-Zone beside the finish line and run on
the track to the stadium exit onto the paved recreational
pathway through Mooney’s Bay Park. They run along
Riverside Drive on the recreational pathway and proceed to
Revelstoke Drive, and the 5K turn around point.
5K & 10K Course Description
The start line is on the track inside the stadium at the finish line. Runners exit the stadium and follow the paved pathway through Mooney’s Bay Park to Riverside Drive. They run along Riverside Drive and Revelstoke Drive to the 5km and 10km turn points.
Half Marathon Course Description
The start line is on the recreational pathway adjacent to the stadium beside the bleachers. Runners follow the paved pathway through Mooney’s Bay Park to Riverside Drive. They run along Riverside Drive and then Revelstoke Drive to the Turn Around point which is on Revelstoke Dr. The Half Marathon consists of 4 complete loops of this course.
