An Official Winterlude Event:
This winter running event has something for everyone: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids 1K. New for 2027 is our 6 Hour Ultra, where you attempt to run as many loops as possible within 6 hours.
Embrace Winter is an official event of Ottawa’s biggest and best winter festival - Winterlude. This scenic run takes you through true Canadian winter landscapes and is a great motivator to stay active this winter.

Cut Off Times:
Everyone needs to finish their race by 2pm sharp. At 1 pm, we'll send out the course vehicle to pick up anyone who won't finish in time. If you're not on track to finish by 2pm, you can hop into the support car for a ride back to the finish.

Shirt Deadline - December 19th. If you're interested in ordering an event shirt for this race, be sure to register and add a shirt to your order before the Shirt Deadline. After that date, we won't be able to add shirts to our order.
Medal Deadline - January 15th. We keep our prices low and make the finisher's medal an optional add-on. If you want to commemorate this achievement with a finisher's medal, make sure to register before January 15th and add the medal to your order. After this date, medals will be available to order subject to availability.
Online Registration Deadline - February 10th at 6pm. Sign up before this date to have your name included on the Athlete Wall. After this date, registration is subject to availability. Some of our races sell out, so make sure to sign up early!
Saturday, February 14th from 1 pm to 4 pm. Pickup will be at Full Cycle Hintonburg. They're located at 7 Hamilton Ave N, Ottawa, ON K1Y 1B4
Sunday, February 15th, starting at 7:15 am. Pickup will be inside the War Museum, 1 Vimy Pl, Ottawa, ON K1A 0M8.
Refunds can only be issued if you purchase cancellation insurance. Purchasing the insurance allows you to ask for a refund anytime before the start of the race, for any reason. No questions asked!
