My the summer has flown! Having just completed a successful 'Canadian' we are looking forward to our final event of the season - the Ottawa Fall Colours Marathon, Half Marathon, 10Km, 5Km, 3Km, 1Km on October 9th, as well as the Fall Colours Long and Sprint Duathlons on October 8th - both at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum here in East Ottawa.

The 2011 Ontario Masters (OMA) Half Marathon Championship (OMA Members only)
The 2011 Ottawa Fall Colours Half Marathon is the official Ontario Master’s (OMA) Athletics Half Marathon Championships. The Fall Colours Half Marathon, a certified course, was chosen for its picturesque and challenging loop course… like none other in Ontario. Nicely nestled into the East Ottawa country side, 'Fall Colours' has become a Thanksgiving tradition for many. In addition to Ottawa Fall Colours age group awards, participating OMA members will qualify for OMA award medals. The first three in each age group from 30-34 and up are eligible. Only OMA members qualify for its award category medals, and age is determined as of the day of the race.

Volunteer & Club Opportunities
We have a number of opportunities at Fall Colours for volunteers looking to pick up individual volunteer hours, or clubs looking for a donation in return for providing an event service such as Water Station attendants, marshals, participant kit stuffing, etc. Please contact us at info@somersault.ca if you are interested.

Carefor - Canadian Club of the Event - A Message
Team Carefor has surpassed our fundraising goal of raising $9,500. Donna Deknatel collected the most pledges with a total over $2,600 and she will receive a one-year fitness membership to "The Athletic Club" located in the Trainyards.
