The Ottawa Riverkeeper is an exceptional event that offers unique challenges to everyone. First-timers, novice athletes are invited to participate in the Try-A-Tri challenge. We encourage friends and families to participate in our Team Canoe Relay Challenge, and we invite non-swimmers or paddling fanatics to participate in the Kayak Triathlon.
The venue for this event is a spectacular location. The Wesboro Beach and the Ottawa River Parkway offer beautiful scenery and a shaded run. Race Director and Certified Triathlon Coach, Geordie McConnell, extends an invite to participants for a “Walk and Talk” pre-event orientation which will offer participants an edge on what to expect on race day. Pay attention, he may offer some race day tips!
*A friendly reminder to those who are considering the challenge to register before June 5, 2006 to avoid late enrty fees. Participants who register before the deadline will receive a FREE event souvenir t-shirt.
Somersault would like to thank Bridgewater Systems for its dedication to the Ottawa Riverkeeper and for making this event possible.
