Somersault Event Series triathlons, duathlons, runs, swims, paddles, and other finish line events, are community sport, recreation and fitness events organized primarily for the recreational enjoyment of participants

The "Event Accreditation
Group" is comprised of Somersault Event Race Directors and other event specialists whose advice help make Somersault Events safe and fair.
The group is responsible for ensuring that Somersault
events adhere to its own accreditation standards.
The
purpose of event accreditation standards is
ensure that each Somersault Event Series event is accountable to participant based, event delivery criteria which ensure
that each event participant is treated equitably at, can prepare
properly for, and is able to participate fairly in, a safe
competition.

Somersault Series events will :
- advertise and communicate clearly all event elements
and conditions of entry, (including rules of competition)
of which a participant should be aware before entering,
- deliver to the participants those event elements that have been advertised
and communicated to them prior to the event,
- treat each participant equitably and with respect,
regardless of age or stage,
- provide competition supervision sufficient to ensure
a safe, and fair competition,
- maintain the third party liability insurance coverage necessary
to protect those who are involved in organizing and
supporting the event,
- respect the conditions imposed on the event by the insurers,
the facility owners, host municipalities, and affiliated
agencies,
- make our best efforts to ensure that event workers perform well, the event tasks to which they are assigned,
- provide an appeal mechanism to allow for participant
protests or appeals, and
- seek and respond to participant feedback

Each Somersault Series event participant, as a condition of entry to a Somersault event, agrees to:
- participate according to the rules of competition
as advertised and communicated to them,
- show respect for other event participants,
- show respect for event officials, workers, and officials, and
- communicate any event concerns, complaints or suggestions,
to the Somersault Series Event Director in a courteous and timely manner.
