The Wylie Ryan Mothers Day Run is a
fun and fitness day for the kids up to
11 years of age. It is held in conjunction with the Place d'Orleans Mothers Day Runs. Light post race refreshments await everyone at the finish line, along
with a participation medal, online race certificate, and a chance at
one of the draw prizes.
The run is conducted on a traffic free route through a park and along sidewalks. Bring Mom and
Dad too, because you need a parent/guardian with you
on race day. They can jog-a-long with you for free.
wylie ryan spring half marathon for kids program - for home or school
The Wylie Ryan Kids' Half Marathon program is one that can get the kids (ages 7-11) out running, jogging, and/or walking regularly in the month before the Wylie Ryan Mothers Day 1Km Run on Sunday, May 13th.
The program is designed for use at home or school; monitored by parents and/or teachers. The kids track a daily running program before the Wylie Ryan Mothers Day Run, completing 20Km over that time. They then run the 21st kilometre at the Wylie Ryan May Day Run, to complete the 21Km half marathon distance. Successful finishers will be awarded a Half Marathon medal, and an official Wylie Ryan Half Marathon certificate right after the run.
